Education & Advocacy Committee is an ad hoc committee of the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, created in 2024 to strengthen the Chamber’s role in professional development and community leadership.

Since its formation, the committee has played a key role in bringing back the Hartford Area Leadership Program, providing valuable opportunities for emerging and established leaders to engage, grow, and give back to the community. The committee also works closely with local businesses to identify training needs, shaping the development of targeted workshops, mini-classes, and skill-building sessions designed to support both business owners and employees.

In addition, the committee has introduced Learning Tours, giving members and community participants a behind-the-scenes look at local businesses, fostering stronger connections, and creating a deeper understanding of the economic drivers within our region.

Through these efforts, the Education & Advocacy Committee continues to champion growth, knowledge, and collaboration across Hartford and the surrounding area.
